Organethic Purecare Scalp & Hair Treatment

With the help of this treatment process, hair loss can be reduced and new hair growth is possible. It takes time & patience for hair to begin growing again, results can begin to be seen as early as 3 months of targeted haircare, but usually take at least 6 months to a year before noticing a significant difference.

I recommend this treatment twice a month for 3 months, along with the at home haircare regime. After 3 months, this treatment can be maintained on a once a month basis.

It’s a truly relaxing experience, which helps reduce stress symtoms that contribute to & exacerbate hairloss issues. A breakdown of the treatment is listed below:

  • We begin with a shoulder neck & scalp massage, followed by an Apricot fennel scrub that gently provides deep exfoliation & oxygenation of the scalp to stimulate microcirculation of blood flow to the hair follicles.

  • The scalp is then sanitized with a detoxifying pre-shampoo lotion & treated with 100% natural avocado oil that prepares the hair & scalp for penetration of a specially formulated essential oil blend of mint, eucalyptus, tea tree, rosemary & thyme to promote & stimulate cell reproduction.

  • Gentle cleansing with the energizing shampoo & conditioner keeps the hair & scalp balanced & hydrated. Another relaxing scalp massage helps to soothe away stress & energize the scalp encouraging healthy production of natural oils that support & nourish your hair.

  • The final rinse of energizing tea, including extracts of green tea, black tea & nettle stimulate & soothe the scalp while the energizing treatment acts to prevent hairloss.

  • Hair is then wrapped in a warm towel, followed by a stimulating leave-in treatment & carefully blowdried into your desired style.

Hair Growth Cycle

There are 3 stages in the hair growth cycle. These stages are known as the Anagen phase, the Catalan phase, and the Telogen phase.

Each follicle is independent and goes through the growing cycle at different times. The majority of hair is in the Anagen stage, growing and healthy. This is the hair we trim, style, color and treat.

Anagen Phase

The Anagen phase is when the hair actively grows from the roots for a period of about 2-7 years before the follicle becomes dormant. During this time, hair can grow anywhere between 18-30 inches, depending on your genetic makeup, age, health and other factors.

Catalan Phase

The Catalan phase is a brief period following the anagen stage. Over about 2-3 weeks the hair stops growing and detaches itself from the blood supply, resting in the follicle.

Telogen Phase

The final stage is called Telogen. While the completed hair strand rests in the follicle, a new hair strand begins to grow beneath it. This phase lasts about 3 months. At the completion of this phase, the resting hairs will fall out, allowing for the new hair to grow through the follicle.

Hair Loss Factors

When we brush our hair and see strands of hair come out, it can cause a degree of alarm. But did you know that on average we shed between 70 to 100 strands of hair on a daily basis? This is a normal function of healthy hair growth.

But what if more than the usual amount of hair is falling? Do you feel concerned over thinning hair? Is there anything that can be done?

I encourage you to seek medical advice when dealing with thinning hair to determine the actual factors that are responsible. Trichologists and dermatologists are experts when it comes to the field of hair loss and your doctor may also be able to provide answers.

I am here to support you in the meantime, with treatments and product recommendations that encourage healthy hair growth to the best degree possible and a relaxing environment for you, that reduces stress levels which could also be a factor contributing to hair loss.

Androgenic Alopecia

Also known as hereditary hair loss, inherited genes cause the hair follicle to shrink and eventually fall out. In women this tends to present itself as overall thinning of the hair, especially throughout the crown and a widening hair part. In men, the signs are a receding hairline or a bald spot on the top of the crown.

Alopecia Areata

Alopecia Areata is a condition where the immune system attacks the hair follicle, causing the hair to fall out in patches. It can be stress induced. When the hair eventually regrows, it may lack pigment and become resistant to coloring services.

Stress & Illness

Stressful events in life, long term illness, Covid-19, and surgery (among other factors) can cause hair to fall out. Since hair growth is cyclical, it may take up to 9 months after recovering from these factors before noticeable regrowth happens.

Other Factors

There are many other causes of hair loss, for example, hormonal imbalances, thyroid disease, a lack of nutrients such as iron, zinc, biotin or protein, or certain medications.
